I asked a couple of them, 'Do you want to go home?' I just challenged them to do the things they are capable of doing and they did. We just settled down and starting playing. I don't know when we've been down that much. It's an awesome experience to be able to go through and be able to win.

Close is their best 3-point shooter and you don't give her a 3-pointer. We weren't taking things away.

It was amazing. I really hope we can have this type of turnout (tonight). We feed off of that. There was a lot of great energy in this building created by our fans.

That's the awesome blend of this team -- the veterans and the new players. We have the ability to sub deep into our bench and different people have stepped up on different days.

Danielle has come up huge for us all year. Our freshmen are one of the reasons why we're here right now. If someone is struggling, we have a lot of weapons.

It's unfortunate that we are not playing our best basketball during this road stretch. It stings. We need to clamp down.

It started in the Stanford game. We matured and got more aggressive, and stopped playing not to lose. Not having any close games in the preseason and the high ranking (No. 9), all of that played into us having to go through some things, which was good for us. We are young, and we needed to have a few growing pains.

As well as we played today, I think we'll be ready to play even better on Monday night.

They have some of the best guards in the conference, and we know this.

Sometimes I just feel like this team doesn't realize how good they are. They've worked too hard and sacrificed too much to let somebody take what they've proved so far. It's so much about us. It really is.
